At Starz Dance Academy Classes are offered for ages 3 thru Adult in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical,
Hip Hop, Tumbling, Pom and Character.

Private Lessons are offered in Modeling for Pageants.

A Complete Progressive Program of Dance is offered on every level;, Beginning thru Advanced. Students are placed in class according to their age and Level. We Treat each Student as an Individual and realize all Students advance at a different pace.

Our Method of teaching is to develop the dancer for whatever direction they may wish to take in the years ahead. Our lesson Plans and curriculum are guided by this.

A Master Teacher is brought in each season to teach our students for a weekend of Fun and Hard Work. Our all time favorite is Mr. Jay T. Jenkins from New York City. Jay T. has been coming to our Academy since 1993. Jay T. has worked with Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Prince and More.

Classes at Starz Dance Academy are exciting and Fun. Instructors have lessons plans prepared for each class to teach students the newest styles and the all important technique needed to be a strong dancer.

Starz Dancers are dancers with strong bodies, long lean muscles and flexibility. This is because of the training they receive from Starz Instructors. Director Kandi Evans developed her own syllabus from Her experiences as a Dancer and Teacher, from her training with some of the worlds best teachers and her own unique style. The original technique is in part the reason Starz Dancers are Strong Dancers.

All Classes begin with a full warm-up dance to have all the muscles warm before continuing in to Jumps, turns and leaps.

Jazz Classes are revolved around routines to the latest music, top 40 style. Teaching children the fun of dancing fast, jumping, and learning the latest steps they see in videos.

Ballet Classes are centered around Technique and classical Ballet training. Which will form the Dancers Body and teach good Posture.

Tap Classes are exciting and Rhythmic as the Students make sounds and learn old and new techniques in Tap Dancing.

Modern and Lyrical Classes are taught with the emotion needed for these styles of dance. Starz Dancers are taught how to execute and Feel the Music. Balance and extensions are a focus.

Pointe Classes teach Children over the age of 10 how to dance "En Pointe", Students learn to dance On their toes in special shoes. The most beautiful and Graceful of all the styles of Dance.

Tumbling Classes teach the Student the Basic of Gymnastics. How to execute a Cartwheel, Basic walkovers, Round off, Back Hand springs, Hand stands and More. Focus is on good Technique.

Preschool Classes are structured for the young student ages 3 and 4 years old. The focus is on rhythm, coordination, hopping, jumping, skipping, learning their right from their left. Social skills are an important part of the class as well as Music appreciation.
